Design Features
We crafted a bespoke kitchen around Lisa’s style and needs using Aldana shaker doors in the sophisticated Cardamom finish, paired with elegant gold handles for a timeless look with a modern edge. A mix of solid and feature elements created a balance of aesthetic appeal and practical use:
- Clad-on units and a glass feature door added texture and lightness.
- An open shelf unit provided space to display cherished items.
- The canopy extractor housing and classic cornice and pelmet brought a traditional feel to the otherwise contemporary space.
To ensure the kitchen was as functional as it was beautiful, we integrated premium appliances and fittings, including:
- Siemens freestanding fridge/freezer
- Bosch under-counter freezer
- Neff built-in microwave
- Reginox sink with a Quooker gold tap for instant boiling water
- A cargo bin unit for tidy waste separation
- Discreet strip lighting for under-cabinet task lighting
The centrepiece was the 30mm Russell Stone worksurface—a robust, natural-looking stone that added depth and elegance while withstanding the demands of daily family life.
A Family-Focused Touch
A particularly important part of Lisa’s brief was ensuring the kitchen could be a family hub. We created a dedicated space where her 3-year-old could sit safely and comfortably while she and her partner cooked—a detail that brought warmth and practicality to the room.
Whether it’s colouring, snacking, or just being part of family life, this thoughtful feature brought the entire design together.

Lisa’s kitchen is a beautiful example of how design, function, and family living can coexist harmoniously. Every detail, from the gold accents to the practical layout, was tailored to reflect the lifestyle of a growing family without compromising on aesthetics.
